Mother Georgia (the Country) - A Travel Video
Video Description:
Sweet, sweet Georgia. After wrapping up my trip in Turkey, I thought nothing could top that experience.. and then there's Georgia, a relatively unknown country among travelers, and that was enough of a reason for me to go there. I crossed the border from Kars, Turkey, to Tbilisi and immediately made a few friends at the hostel. We hung out, cooked for each other, checked out the nightlife scene, and explored the capital city of Georgia together. It was like a little family we formed.
During that night out in Tbilisi, we met Sophie at an open-air concert we accidentally stumbled upon. She was a very friendly local who invited us to join her in the quest of finding the real nightlife of Tbilisi. It was so random yet very rewarding. People are much friendlier here than in Egypt, Jordan, or even Turkey.
After Tbilisi, we went to Kazbegi and did a bunch of day hikes around the area. Kazbegi is beyond words. It was like a scene from the movie, the Sound of Music. Lush green fields, colorful flowers, and mountainous landscapes. It was truly a hidden gem in this area, and I highly recommend giving Georgia a go.
Beautiful mountains, charming people, and best of all, the cheap food. I hope this video will convey these messages. Enjoy!
