Video Description:

Join me on an incredible journey through Indonesia's stunning islands of Bali, Lombok, and Flores in the travel video "Nusantara." Indonesia, being a vast and diverse archipelago, offers a myriad of unique cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and warm-hearted people to discover.

Our adventure begins on the well-known islands of Bali and Lombok, both popular destinations for travelers. However, the real highlight of this trip lies in the less explored island of Flores. Flores, often overshadowed by the fame of Komodo National Park, reveals its hidden treasures to those who venture there.

We start in Labuan Bajo, where we embark on an exciting live-aboard experience around the Komodo National Park. The journey takes us to Komodo Island, Rinca Island, and Padar Island, where we witness the majestic Komodo Dragons in their natural habitat. Between exploring the islands, we are privileged to swim with Manta Rays, a truly unforgettable encounter with marine life.

After two days of discovery in the Komodo Islands, we fly inland to Ende, situated on the eastern side of Flores. From there, we begin a remarkable land journey back westward, immersing ourselves in the wonders of Flores beyond the Komodo Islands.

Flores showcases a diverse array of attractions. We venture up to Kelimutu, a volcano with tri-colored crater lakes in Moni, and explore the traditional village of Bena in Bajawa, gaining insight into the rich local culture. Riding a scooter around Ruteng, we connect with the enthusiastic locals and embrace the true essence of Flores.

The video "Nusantara" captures the essence of Indonesia's splendor, from Bali's vibrant culture and Lombok's pristine beauty to the lesser-known yet enchanting landscapes of Flores. Each moment is a celebration of the unique and diverse offerings of the Indonesian archipelago.

Discover the allure of Bali, Lombok, and Flores, where adventure meets cultural exploration, and nature unveils its wonders in every corner. I invite you to experience the captivating islands of Indonesia through "Nusantara."

Wondering what camera I am currently using? Here are all the camera gear I usually take with me when I am traveling:

Camera: Sony a7R V, the highest resolution full-frame camera out there, is my go-to camera when I travel. All of my recent photos and videos are all from this beast.
All-Around Travel Lens: Sony 24-70mm f2.8 GM II lens is the lens I mounted on my camera the most. The lens covers most of the ranges I need for travel from wide to telephoto. If I have to take only one lens with me on my travel, it would be this lens.
Ultra-Wide Lens: Sony 16-35mm F2.8 GM II Lnes: An ultra-wide lens I often use to shoot expansive landscapes and capture massive architecture I stumble upon while traveling.
Telephoto Lens: Sony 70-200mm F2.8 GM II lens is one of the most versatile lenses to have. It is great for picking out details in landscapes and capturing wildlife when combined with the Sony FE 2x teleconverter.
Portrait Lens: Sigma 85mm F1.4 DG DN Lens is the most compact and lightweight 85mm F1.4 lens out there. It's sharp and produces stunning bokeh for subject separation, perfect for portraits and street photography.
Drone: DJI Mavic Mini 2, a perfect drone for those who travel light. It weighs less than 250g and smaller than an iPhone when folded and can capture 4K video as well as 12 megapixels RAW photos. More than enough for its size.
Bag: Langly Alpha Globetrotter is a camera bag I use to carry all these lenses as well as other essentials when I'm traveling.
