Hey. Do you know that MasterCard and American Express are not accepted anywhere in East Timor as of late 2018.

I am not sure about those 2. I knew the country is not well developed so I avoid using credit cards and only carry cash. ATM works fine though and I had no trouble getting money out for my trip. I'm sure some places in Dili will accept credit cards but others, very unlikely.
